RESPECT LIFE CORNER 

“Each of us has a mission, each of is called to change the world, to work for a culture of life, a culture forged by love and respect for the dignity of each human person.” Pope Benedict XVI.  If you want to see the Pope’s quote in action, this book - Unplanned: The Dramatic True Story of a Former Planned Parenthood Leader’s Eye-Opening Journey Across the Life Line -  will inspire you! Abby Johnson quit her job in October 2009. That simple act became a national news story because Abby was the director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Texas, who, after participating in her first actual abortion procedure, walked across the road to join the Coalition for Life. Unplanned tells Abby’s story from both sides of the abortion clinic property line. MEALS-ON-WHEELS  The Marian Guild of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish sponsors the parish effort to provide desserts for Meals-on-Wheels the week of February 20-24. To make this a success the whole parish is being asked to contribute. They would like no nuts in the desserts and also no icing. Monetary donations are also being accepted. These can be dropped off at the rectory or placed in the collection baskets in an envelope marked “Meals-on-Wheels”. Any questions can be directed to Helen Mehalik at 724-774-1043.
