The school office will reopen Monday, August 2, at 9 a.m. and will resume being open from 9 a.m.– 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.  ….. We are still accepting registrations for Kindergarten.  If you wish to take a tour of the school or register your child, please call for an appointment.

A ROSARY RALLY is being held today, Sunday,  August 1, at 3:00 p.m. in the church. We will pray the rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet for the Sick and the Dying.  All are invited to join us as we honor our Blessed Mother.

Join us for the  ANNUAL PARISH PICNIC on Sunday, August 8, beginning at 3 p.m. on the Parish grounds and food being served at 4 p.m.  We will have a Climbing Wall, Party Bounce, and games for the children. Just bring your favorite dessert to share with others! Everything else will be provided. Come and enjoy an afternoon of  fellowship, music, games, and bingo - plenty of fun for all ages.

“Does someone you know drink too much or have a drug problem?” Help is available in your community by calling your local phone information number or going on the internet for the nearest ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS SUPPORT GROUP or AL-ANON SUPPORT GROUP. Al-Anon is a support group for families and loved ones of persons with addiction. ...

We are grateful for the donations made to the ANGEL FUND in memory of Peter J. Tessier by Rocco and Monica Falitico and Virginia Marola and in memory of Felix Kanapesky by Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Schulz, Carol and Jim Wyant and Jack and Judy Slattery.  We are also thankful for the donation to the WE CARE FUND in memory of Felix Kanapesky by Mariellen McCullough.

MEALS-ON-WHEELS  The Marian Guild of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish sponsors the parish effort to provide desserts for Meals-on-Wheels the week of August 16-20, 2010. To make this a success the whole parish is being asked to contribute. They would like no nuts in the desserts and also no icing. Monetary donations are also being accepted. These can be dropped off at the rectory or placed in the collection basket in an envelope marked “Meals-on-Wheels”.  Any questions can be directed to Helen Mehalik at 724-774-1043. Thank you for your support of this program.

THANK YOU to all who helped with our HIGH SEAS EXPEDITION Vacation Bible School. Once again words are inadequate to express our appreciation to all who participated in our Sea Voyage. Special thanks to the Leaders and Helpers, those who coordinated and helped with decorating, snacks, crafts, games, and the Bible Voyage Theater, and the Music Director and Helpers.
