PRAYER OF THE WEEK Keep your family safe, O Lord, with unfailing care, that, relying solely on the hope of heavenly grace, they may be defended always by your protection. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

A FAMILY PERSPECTIVE by Bud Ozar. In today’s gospel Jesus went to the “house of Andrew and Simon” to relax but discovered that Simon’s mother-in-law was very ill. Like Jesus we come to relax but are confronted with problems. Take a tip from Andrew and Simon who “told Jesus about it at once.” |
